Studio One Swans is a ballet-inspired class specifically designed for adults. The class combines gentle ballet movements creating a low-impact workout that is both enjoyable and beneficial.
Participants work at their own pace, focusing on improving their balance, mobility, flexibility, and strength.
It is well documented that ballet classes can help to improve overall sense of well-being and the social aspect of the class also provides a sense of community, which can contribute to mental and emotional health.

ADULT TAP
Our Adult Tap Classes offer a fun and energetic way to improve fitness and mental health. This class is suitable for beginners and improvers.
The rhythmic nature of learning to tap dance provides a cardiovascular workout, while the precision of the movements strengthens the legs, core, and feet.
Taking part in weekly Tap Classes also enhances individual coordination, balance, and rhythm.
Similarly, dancing with others can boost your mood, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being.

DDMIX
(Diverse Dance Mix)

The aim of DDMIX is to get people moving without being intimidated by the word ‘dance’ or the technicality of the steps, but instead to give a full body workout that is such fun that you don’t even notice that you are exercising.
With the vast number of dance styles around the world to choose from, no one will ever get bored!
We have a passion for dance-based fitness and believe the best way of getting fit is by doing something you enjoy.
By participating in dance, you can achieve your goals by not looking upon exercise as a chore.
We love group exercise classes with non-correctional instruction, that are fun and all inclusive.

BALLET
BARRE
This Ballet Barre Class combines elements of Ballet, Pilates, and Strength Training, providing a low impact yet challenging workout.
Participants work at the barre, using their body weight and small props to perform precise, repetitive movements that target specific muscle groups. The focus on alignment and core engagement improves posture, balance, and overall body strength. Barre classes also enhance flexibility and range of motion, while the controlled movements help reduce the risk of injury.
This combination of benefits makes our Ballet Barre Classes a popular choice for those seeking to improve their physical fitness.

MATURE MOVERS
Our Mature Movers class is designed to provide a safe and enjoyable fitness experience for adults who have limited mobility, long term injuries or medical conditions which may limit range of movement.

This class can be taken seated or standing and will often incorporate a variety of movements and activities including the use of props to improve overall range of movement and strength.
​
Participants can take this class at their own pace with no pressure to execute exercises to a certain level.
​
The social aspect of this class is also a huge benefit as we always make time for a Drink and some Cake after our classes.

YOGA
Ready to find your flow and stretch your body? This class is the perfect place to start.

Our yoga class for adults will introduce you to various foundational yoga poses and breathing techniques, exploring different styles and sequences.

The class will always begin with a gentle, easy-to-follow warm-up to prepare your body. We will then move into a series of poses, linking breath with movement to create a mindful flow.
Taking a regular yoga class is a great way to strengthen your core, improve flexibility, and increase balance. It also helps to quiet the mind and reduce stress by focusing on your breath and body.
