It's so goo to see that your exams are going so smoothly again. You all look lovely in the photo's I have seen on facebook. I wish you all the best for your results (not that you need it as you ALL are fabulous dancers and do so well anyway!)
It's soo good to here that Sophie Camble is doing so well. She looks like she is having a fantastic time on her new ship!
Please if you have time take a look at our new photo's from the SIGBI conference that I performed at the Brighton Dome a few weeks ago. It was such an amazing experience and it shows in the photo's.
I also found out the other day that D@Win will be performing at the school Nikki Barr teaches at next year while we are on tour so it will be good to see her and collaborate with her as this is what i want to do. =]

RECENT EMAIL FROM SOPHIE CAMBLE IN AUSTRALIA
Hello Miss Denise and Kate!
Just emailing to let you know how I am getting on. It is Thursday night of week 2 and we have finished two shows.
Music Music Music the first week
and then Outback Country this week.
I must say I am missing the dancing but I am loving the singing and being the star! ha ha!
My cast are all lovely.
There is a mixture of ages, the youngest is 19, there is one 20 year old, three 21, one 22, me who is 23 and then two boys, one of them the male lead, who are 28 and then one 29 year old. Not sure why I felt I had to tell you that but thought you might be able to picture it a bit easier!
The apartments we are staying at are really nice. My room is lovely and big! My bed is so huge I do not know where to sleep! I have ended up staying on one side of it anyway!
I love having my own room though, it makes such a difference.
My voice is improving every day as well as my confidence and my cast are all really supportive and cheer me a lot!
Ha ha! The teachers are also really nice so I am enjoying myself lots and giving my all every day. In notes the other day the teacher said that I have the best walk she has ever seen! My male lead, Andy is great too, we get on really well and have a lot of laughs, a bit too many laughs actually as we got the giggles today in our run through of the show in the middle of our serious song! Oops!
We have heard that our ship docks here on Sunday so we are going to see if we can maybe go on it for the day. We are all going to the cinema on Friday night and then Bondi Beach on Saturday! Yippee! Lets hope it does not rain! That would be typical! We all went out last Saturday and had a great night. I am having lots of fun, so off to a good start, I hope it stays this way!

Hey Studio One! How are the rehearsals going? All working hard as usual?
I saw some fantastic pictures from the Barn Dance on Facebook, congrats for making so much money for Julias House!
I thought i would let you into what i have been doing over the past few weeks into the second year of uni.
Well i went back two weeks earlier to start D@Wins piece for the Brighton Dome which we are performing this Thursday. SO EXCITED ^^ and we get to meet the vice chancellor of the uni tomorrow during rehearsals so she can watch our piece as she cannot make the performance. I found out the conference is for the SIGBI - Soroptomists International Great Britain and Ireland, there a group which inspire action and transform lives for women around the world, we get to end the opening ceremony and women are coming from lots of different countries to watch. Im really looking forward to it =] it shall be a experience!
Also Winchester have another residential company called Udify and Chris the artistic director has been giving us a few repetory classes and the stuff they do is amazing! I ache so much from so many difficult moves! I also got to take classes in Graham Technique which is so strange to what we do normally. It completely disregards any training over the years i have done at the studio so it is really hard to get it right at the moment as i fall back into the Studio One style =] I've been told to not hold my bum all the time as i look like a showgirl!
Also I auditioned for the dance show which this year is Alice in Wonderland and got the part of the Red Queen, which they are modeling on Killer Queen from WWRY! ^^
D@Wins Premiere is on the 27th/28th February this year, so we have so much work to do for the show, so far though, its looking amazing! If you have facebook please follow us.....i just made the page so there's not much on it but there will be soon! It would be much appreciated!

Just popped by! Hope you are all well and that show rehearsals are going well! Looks like you all had fun at the barn dance last weekend!
i am having lots of fun in Essex. College is brilliant but very hard- Miss Kates warm- ups are nothing compared to some of the classes here! We are off to the Royal Albert Hall next week to see a one- off show which is very exciting!
Hopefully i will see you all in a couple of weeks when i am back for half term. You will not recognise me- i actually eat fruit and veg regularly and i no longer have a whole cupboard devoted to chocolate (i miss it very much!)

Hey Everyone!
I hope everyone has had a fantastic summer and is getting back into the swing of things at the studio.
It was lovely seeing you Miss D and Miss Kate the other day, it was a must needed visit. And to the performers i saw.......WOW you've all grown up so much! It's insane that the last time i saw you all at the 30th Anniversary show.
Well I've settled back into my new house at uni ready for second year to start. I've also had rehearsals for D@Win all week ready for our Brighton Dome Performance and i'm am aching sooo much from it all!?! Were just starting to plan our show which will take place in Feb in Winchester then we will take it on tour over the country near easter time =] It's all exciting stuff!
